But make no mistake: Focus Points aren’t simple tools. They’re alive with ancient energy. Pulsing rings of glowing power, they shimmer across the universe and in the mystical realm of the Between—a subplane dimension that connects reality’s vast locations through magic and will.

Each Focus Point is like a frozen moment of potential: silent until activated, but once awakened from a nearby Selected, they flare to life.

How Do They Work?

To the uninitiated, Focus Points might seem like random, tiny floating circles. But to the Selected, they are precision tools, tailored to their journey, their choices, and their past.

A Focus Point cannot be activated without these two steps:

1. A present Selected – A Selected must physically be nearby a Focus Point before it sparks with life and opens to the Between.

2. Residue particles – When a Selected collects particles (magical or natural) from world’s they have visited and throws them into a Focus Point, it opens the portal to that location.

   
   

Once this magical handshake is made, the Focus Point becomes a gateway, allowing that Selected to return there at will.

No ships.
